A few months ago we decided to make bead boxes for the children with cancer at Roswell Cancer Institute. When the children have an experience related to treatment or as a result, they receive a bead to collect, showing each experience. Because of the many events involved in treating cancer, they collect many beads. These boxes are to store them. The slide show below shows the boxes that were donated to the young cancer patients at Roswell.

Welcome to the Lockport Woodworkers Web Site.
Our membership consists of individuals from the Niagara County area who have an interest in woodworking and woodturning, and a desire to share this interest with others. The only requirement for membership is a willingness to share your interest and ability in creating useful projects in wood. Anyone, male or female, with a desire to offer their knowledge or a need to expand their ability is welcome to join us at one of the Club meetings. The Lockport Woodworkers meet at the Dale Association Building at 33 Ontario Street in Lockport, New York.
The meetings are held on the first Tuesday and the second Saturday of each month. The Tuesday meeting starts at 7: P.M. while the Saturday meeting begins at 1: P.M. Each meeting is two hours long with a short business meeting followed by a demonstration and a show and tell session where members share and discuss their latest creations in wood. There is also a 50/50 drawing where one member leaves a little richer than when he came in.
If you have an interest in woodworking we would like to meet you. Plan to attend a meeting soon. If you decide to join our club the membership dues are $10.00 per year.
